"Non-Contact Martial Arts" - NCMA

To potential students and previous students:

After 21 years in business and over 35 years of Martial Arts experience, I am a true believer that the movements practiced in the Martial Arts can lead to a healthier and more active life.  The NCMA idea came about after watching and listening to many different people over the years.  I learned that so many people want to learn and practice a quality Martial Art but can't do it for any of the following reasons:

  • physical limitations

  • Can't commit the time to a large curriculum because of family or work constraints

  • fear of a debilitating injury

  • may feel too old to start a full blown Martial Art program

  • or a variety of other reasons

If there is one thing I've learned about myself after 25 years of teaching, it is that I can't teach something that I don't believe in.  I believe this will be an excellent program for any of the people who participate in it.  Members of this program will receive the following:

  • a Saturday morning NCMA, which includes teaching Kata, class from 8:30am - 10:00am

  • Tuesday and Thursday night classes at 6:30pm

  • use of our downstairs gym anytime during our open hours

  • if you want some contact, NCMA members may participate in the sparring and grappling sessions immediately following the class.  Times are 10:00am - 11:00am.
